If you want a custom workshop for an event or for your business or you want me to speak at an event you’re organizing, let me know using my chat box in the bottom-right corner. Looking forward to working with you!

Are you a business owner or team manager?

Do you want to skill up your team?

Do you want an experienced skill development expert and speaker to guide your team on how best to learn any new skill?

In this workshop, I will teach your team one of the most important skills to learn for the rest of their life:

How to deconstruct skills to their smallest components

The reason why some skills seem impossible to learn is because people only think about the subject more so than the actual sub-skills.

People want to learn:

  • The French language;

  • Programming;

  • Writing;

  • Drawing;

  • Playing the guitar;

  • Photography;

  • Playing tennis;

  • Etc.

This is too broad! No wonder you get discouraged! All these examples are subjects. They take years of practice to become really good at them!

And who’s got years to spare? Am I right?

I have been learning 3 new skills a month since October 2017. If you do the math, that’s a lot of skills! Through this fabulous experience, I:

  • Discovered hidden talents;

  • Discovered new passions;

  • Met wonderful people;

  • Became more interesting;

  • Developed incredible influence;

  • Started earning a living by writing for only 1 hour per day;

  • and much much more!

Becoming more skilled and learning how to learn are completely life-changing. If there’s anything in life you want to change, skilling up can be the catalyst for that change.

An important pillar of learning how to learn is knowing how to break skills down to their smallest components. After learning over 80 skills, I have perfected the method I call SkillUp Trees. It’s the ultimate tool to raise awareness of your current capabilities and figuring out what sub-skills you should learn next.

You can read more about the method in these articles:

This interactive workshop will be divided this way:

  • Quick overview of what skill deconstruction means and why it matters (10 minutes)

  • Explanation of the SkillUp Tree method (8 minutes)

  • Some real examples of skill deconstructions (7 minutes)

  • Live skill deconstruction with all attendees with Danny at the helm (15 minutes)

  • Small groups skill deconstruction with Danny acting as mentor for the groups (10 minutes)

  • Group presentations of the results to the rest of the attendees (20 minutes)
