The short version

The gist of it is a massively enhanced focus on the community of trainees and trainers, greatly simplified tools, added accountability, and a redesign to make it more visually appealing.

The new economy

We’re removing the premium model entirely. There won’t be a monthly fee anymore to access our team and our resources.

Instead, we’re going freemium.

That means we’ll have our own app economy. This will make it more affordable for all, but also opens up tons of new ways to reward you for following through on your learning and for helping others.

Basically, by doing what you already set out to do, you’ll earn Coins you’ll be able to exchange for products and services you’d normally have to pay for, like books, courses, coaching services, etc.

Trainee Clubs

Student groups are an important part of learning in traditional schools. Our trainee clubs system will allow you to form private groups of trainees all working together to learn the same skills. Each club will have access to their own “library”, where they can share training material that worked for them. They can also share notes and chat together.

You’ll be able to customize your banner and advertise it on the ads board.

Trainership program

We’ll have our trainership (coaching) program up and ready to use directly within the app. You’ll be able to find highly skilled personal trainers in the skills you want to learn. We’re only onboarding true professionals so you can always expect a high quality service.

Simple accountability

Every day, you’ll be able to report on what you set out to learn for the day. It’s a very simple commitment that will get added to the global commitment board. You’ll be able to see what other trainees also committed to learning.

You can choose to make it “public” or “anonymous”.

When you choose public, people will be able to see your photo and your name, as well as go to your profile.
When you choose “anonymous”, people will be able to see what the commitment is, but not who made it.

A commitment will look something like this:

I will commit to <studying/training> on <skill name> for <number> minutes.

If you come back to mark it as completed later on, we’ll reward you with a few free Coins!

Monthly Challenges

If you want to up the ante a little, you’ll want to take part in monthly challenges. They cost Coins to participate in, but you’ll be part of a group of other super committed trainees who’ll keep you accountable and share their top resources with your dedicated private group.
